Gain More Confidence in Diving with the Advanced Open Water Course

Taking the PADI Advanced Open Water Dive Course is a continuation of the basic PADI Open Water Course.  If you wish to gain more confidence and develop your diving skills, making you feel more relaxed when you’re underwater, the Advanced course will be extremely beneficial.  To enroll in the advanced diver course, you must first be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver and be at least 15 years of age. Being in good health and having knowledge of how to swim, is also a requirement. You will acquire more experience on the course, while still under the supervision of PADI instructors.

It is requirement of the course to complete 5 adventure dives to perfect your technique. This includes Underwater navigation dive, deep diving (in range of 18-30 meters), and three adventure dives where you can choose from 15 different types of adventure dive. You get the chance to try underwater photography, night diving, identifying fish species, drift diving and various other themed dives. You will gain knowledge and experience on the Adventure Dives you decide to choose. 


During the course, you can expect to learn the practical aspects and safety considerations of deep diving as well as the physiological effects that go with it.
