DENTAL TIPS WHEN YOU GO ON VACATION TO BALI

So, you’ve booked your flight and your hotel, and your bags are packed for your vacation to Bali. How exciting! However, just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you should forget or neglect your dental hygiene. The last thing you want is to have dental problems while on your relaxing vacation.
To prevent that, here are some dental care tips for your trip to Bali!

BRING TOOTHPASTE & MOUTHWASH

You can carry a travel-sized toothpaste if you prefer, but make sure you bring a fluoride toothpaste if possible. This ensures your teeth are properly cleaned while traveling, regardless of what you decide to drink or eat during your vacation. Just as important is mouthwash!  Carry a small bottle that you can pack in your luggage. Nothing feels better than a fresh feeling in your mouth after a long day of traveling!

FULL-SIZE TOOTHBRUSH

A small, travel toothbrush is okay, but a full-size toothbrush is even better! Nowadays, you can find one in most drug stores and supermarkets so there’s no reason for you to skimp on small brushes.

BRING A FLOSSING KIT

A flossing kit may sound excessive, but you’ll thank yourself in the long run by keeping up your flossing habits during your travels. A simple flossing kit will suffice; you can get the small packs of flossing strings, or the dental picks that have the flossing strings attached at the end.

HEALTHY EATING HABITS

This list wouldn’t be complete without emphasizing your own healthy dental habits. This includes brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing before sleep, drinking plenty of water and avoiding sugary, carbonated drinks when possible.
Another good dental tip before traveling is to research local dental care available in the area you are staying in. It’s always better to be prepared, and for this case, our team at Rejuvie Dental Clinic is more than happy to fulfill your dental needs during your vacation in Bali!
